We only needed a quick meal on our way home after a day out. This was a really good choice. Good wholesome meals at a reasonable price and with friendly, prompt service. Good size portions and very tasty. Easy to see why it was so popular.

Another delicious lunch at the Royal Oak, Lsmb shanks, fish and chips, lasagne all perfectly cooked then ice cream sundaes for dessert. Our go to pub for holidays in Dorset. Such a friendly welcoming place, highly recommended thank you , see you again next year.

We came here for dinner on Tuesday and Thursday as the meal and service was second to none everything was piping hot service was great nothing was to much bother We were sat at the same table both nights . I would definitely recommend this pub to anyone visiting as it was unreal

The food at this restaurant was excellent and very reasonably priced. Every member of the staff, from the bartender to the waitress to the chef at the carvery, greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. The gravy, turkey, and roast potatoes were all delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed and family-friendly. This local village pub is a popular spot for people near and far looking for a top-notch carvery. It was one of the best meals I've had, and made for a wonderful birthday celebration with my family.
