Pizza King - North Dorset

I am extremely disappointed with our recent order from this restaurant. We were sent garlic bread slices instead of the baguette we had ordered, which were dripping with grease and burnt. Additionally, our chicken kebab was missing lettuce and chilli sauce, and instead had a sweet sauce that ruined the dish. When we called to explain the mistake, we were told that the garlic bread slices were the baguette, which was confusing. We suggested that they update their website to avoid further confusion. Although they did send us a pot of chilli sauce quickly, the kebab was already ruined by the sweet sauce and arrived cold. The chips we ordered were also disappointing - despite ordering a large portion, it was very small, with black bits and excess condensation in the box. It seemed as though the chips had been cooked earlier and had gone soggy. I understand that mistakes can happen, but I was disappointed by the lack of quality control in our order, especially since it was placed online. We spent over £36 on our meal, and unfortunately, it was not worth it. I would not recommend this place to others and do not plan on trying it again. Pizza King, if you are reading this, a refund or partial refund for the ruined items would be appreciated.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, with great quality and generous portion sizes. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Even though we live a 30-minute drive away, we now make Pizza King our weekly takeaway choice because the food is just that good. Our family's personal favorites are the Chicken Sandwich and the massive 18" Pizza.

This is the worst takeaway experience I have ever had in the UK. I was staying at my parents' house and was unsure of the address, but the staff knew where I was based on my description. Instead of helping me, they passed the phone around, humiliated me, bullied me, and made fun of me after I had already paid. When I questioned their behavior, they hung up on me. I had to call back to confirm if my order was still coming, as I thought it was a prank call due to their childish and pathetic behavior. It was a terrible experience with a group of sad, unprofessional men.

Arrived 2 and a half hours after ordering, not only were pizzas cold! But they weren’t even close to the pizzas we ordered!!! Not happy at all!

Pizza King had always been a firm fave with my household but on this particular Thursday evening we waited over 2 hours for our delivery of only 2 pizzas! What started off as a 1 hour wait time slowly got pushed back to over 2 hours. When we called to see where our delivery was, the man on the phone said they had been busy and that we lived 'too far away ' for delivery. However, we were still within their delivery radius and we paid a delivery charge and service charge! I couldn 't believe it! Other local take away companies have delivered promptly and with no fuss so will be returning to them next time.
