The Thatch - North Devon

Nice eating, they were very helpful with options. eat tasted good and quickly came here!

They now have a vegan menu. the options are usually the same as the regular menu with bite missing ie cream / cheese etc. nevertheless really nice eating!

Update nov 2017 they have now a vegan menu, but they need to ask for it, they had several nice options, both the veg chili and the butternut squash chili were very good. old review I was with my family Vege/Vegan in croyde and so we went to eat in the thatch. we had already sent them by email to ask about vegan options and they had said they were happy to change. a helpful waiter came out to answer my questions and it turned out that the beetroot and aubergine curry vegan was made with little fuss. it was also really nice, and a good size. they seemed a few other options like a mushroom burger (only a big mushroom in a burger.) I put this here and see that it is not on happy kuh: I would also recommend the blue groove in croyde, they brought the allergy brochure fast and were happy to change dinge, I had made the 5 bean enchilada without the sour it was looking or coming they also seemed to do a curry that could be both changeable and a mushroom burger as the thatch. not the biggest places for vegans, but I ate well without too much fuss I give them 3 stars. updated by previous review on 2015-09-22

Great pub with a good atmosphere and layout. Very popular with surfers during weekends and holidays but there is always space for non-surfers. Live bands...
