Walked in on the off-chance after long journey to rural campsite, on Good Friday. It was busy but staff very welcoming. Got us a table right in the thick of it where you wanna be on a Friday night. Live music was great foot stamping stuff, menu brilliant, I could 've eaten all of it, food was delicious, beer was perfect, overall superb atmosphere. A pleasure to find a real country pub still exists and hasn 't gone all gastro but stuck to it 's roots and has a friendly local crowd as a result. Thumbs up!
