The Oak Room - North Devon

Father’s Day and our fourth visit to this wonderful little restaurant did not disappoint. Always keen to take friends there when they visit us, it’s a 30 minute drive from where we live on the edge of the moor, but well worth it. Have seen some negative comments about menu choices and can’t understand the problem I don’t eat meat and there’s plenty of fish and vegetarian choices along with meat choices. Lovely atmosphere, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming along with great service. :

Really beautiful fresh food and nice atmosphere. The portions were good and the price is very resaonble for the food you get and the service! 3 of us had diner, drinks and a pudding to share and it came to around £33 each! Staff were very friendly and helpful, they really added to the whole expereince. Will definitely return!

The tapas were incredibly good! The drinks too. In terms of price, everything corresponds to the quality. The staff was very attentive and friendly.

Nice menu and very tasty dishes. The fish cakes were particularly good and we liked the lettuce hearts with blue cheese.
