Pilton Fryer - North Devon

Simply order the best fish and chips in north devon! by phone. the cod was tender and succulent. the light as air crispy teig was delicious. nicely boiled chips with not one hauch of fat. pilsen fryer will be my "gate to" spy in the future.

We regularly have a retreat from the pilton fryer for our annual vacation in the opposite, and it never disappointed. everything is freshly made to order, and that is worth waiting. we also dined on another (known) eating in fish and chip shop... during the visit, and pilton’s were head and shoulders up, although a fairly high bar to beat! great, friendly customer service too much to scare, but eating itself is amazing. very crispy and perfect chips and the deep fritted marsbars kept the children happy:

I have been visiting this chippy with my family and alone for 14 years. I won't be going there ever again or at least until they get rid of the young girl that served me last n Saturday night. She was very rude and offensive...from the moment I walked in. So much so that I cancelled my order and walked out in sheer disgust. This has been my local chippy and the service is normally friendly and the food is great. This experience has completely ruined it for me.

Just moved to Pilton and am feeling rather smug to have such a corker of a takeaway on my door step. Monday night you can get gluten free which is Amaz ing. Great choice with fast and friendly service. A wonderful local gem!
