Kroger Bakery - North College Hill

Is the NCH Kroger in a state of deterioration? I went there yesterday hoping to buy four items. I looked for a hand basket, and found none, and had heard there are none in the store any more. So I decided not to be tempted to buy anything extra, and to just juggle whatever I bought in my hands, though this was one of those rare occasions where most of the smaller carts had been brought back from the parking lot. It turned out I didn't have to worry about having too much to carry, because the store was out of two of the four items I was looking for. I wasted quite a bit of time looking for some breakfast sausage that was on sale Friday and Saturday only, until I saw a meat department employee who told me they were out of that. There appeared to be a ten-minute line at the service counter and I'd already wasted 5 if not 10 minutes looking for places where they might have had the sausage in addition to its normal tiny shelf space, so it appears I'm out of luck. Considering the waste of time, It would have been a better deal for me if they offered a coupon that makes you pay a dollar MORE for the product, if they could manage to keep the item in the store. Imagine how much of their customers' and employees' time they wasted. You would think that with the Mt. Airy Kroger closing in a few weeks, they would be doing their best to persuade some of those customers to shop at the NCH store instead of the Walmart on Colerain at Cross County.

I drove my son to Kroger he went in and got some of our groceries I stayed in the car he says it’s quicker if I don’t go in but he didn’t get some of the groceries right I should of went in too ????

‪Hey Kroger, I had to leave a cart full of groceries I was going to buy because your NCH store closed early. I was in store shopping came to the front. No employees the kiosks were turned off or down for maintaince before 1am-store close time. ‬ When I found somebody who said he could find someone to ring me up, I waited until 1:05p at which time someone came up said they couldn’t turn any registers in because they didn’t have a key. He showed me he had his wrist watch set to say it was 1:15am. According to my phone provider (I can’t alter the the time) he was nearly 15 minutes fast. Check the time stamps...I’d been standing there for a while trying to get help before I left to go look for someone. I will be going to Meijer from now on-they still not only stay open the hours they indicate, Meijer’s is open 24 hours. In addition, their employees don’t act like customer service is a unwanted hassle. Your store service has been falling off for some time. I just figured I would tell you why yet one more customer will be shopping elsewhere. The kiosks are terrible what few people you have left at NCH Kroger in the late evening are providing horrible customer service.

Pathetic. So many things wrong with this location it would take a book to tell it all. Needs a new manager who actually cares.

Its a family oriented grocery store the one's that run the u scan are hilarious keep you laughing and are helpful
