The Oriental Cuisine - North Charleston

I've been eating in Oriental Cusine for 30 years. Today 8 lumping eiroole and eggdrop soup did not get them the vegetable soup I wanted today). The service was fast. Eggs roll super. The soup was like water with egg AWFUL. They just needed to know. Things slip.

I've eaten over 45 years in this restaurant. Founder Stan Godfrey was a friendly and gentle man who always cared for everyone, including his staff. After reading some of the negative reviews, we decided for lunch today. I had to see if things were dismantled, as some had said. As I suspected, Janet and family continue to do a big job in the leadership of their father's legacy. The food is brilliant and the Klumpia is still the best I ever had? Time! Years ago my wife and I visited a 5-star restaurant and even they could have a break? Night occasionally. OC is not a 5-star food or a showplace, but it is a great Pilipino kitchen and our family will be cartridges for life.

I?ve been eating at OC since I was a child. The quality of food and service has never changed and they hands down have the best lumpia I?ve ever eaten! 100% recommend if you?re looking for a long time, locally owned restaurant!!

I have been a customer of Oriental Cuisine for over 35 years. It's still ok food compared to the five star before Covid. The last two times I have been there my food was very disappointing. My sweet and sour porks breading was not done inside. I'm not sure what was different about the rice except it was gummy and had no taste. Prices have increased everywhere but for three adults it was over $50! Won't be frequenting here as often anymore.

Very nice. We recently moved to North Charleston. Eaten at numerous Filipino restaraunts for 30 years and was not disappointed here. Great menu, great prices thst make this a wonderful experince. Serves also a common Oriental menu but the added Filipino items such as Bistek, Pancit, Adobo. Owned by 2 sisters whom we saw present on the day we dined here.i got Bistek, wife got Wonton Soup and Pancit Guisado. Wonton soup was excellent, fresh, and piping hot. Pancit and Bistek were both amazing! We will defintely be back.
