Larry's Giant Subs on Rivers Avenue in North Charleston is one of the top spots for subs in the Charleston area. I enjoy every sub on the menu, and sometimes it's hard to choose which one to order since they are all so delicious. The location is very convenient, easily accessible from the Interstate, making it a great option when you're hungry. The staff is excellent; they take their time to prepare the sandwiches perfectly, ensuring everything is just right. Over the many years I've been coming here, they've consistently maintained high quality. It's reassuring to have a place where you know you'll get a great sandwich.

Larry really knows how to make a great sub. When you first see the place, it looks a bit quirky with its giant monkey sign out front. Inside, it has the vibe of a classic New York deli, complete with vintage film posters and a large gorilla head and hands on the wall. The counter features an array of freshly sliced deli meats and cheeses, along with freshly baked bread and a variety of toppings. It delivers exactly what you would hope for. While they focus primarily on hot subs, they also offer cold subs, salads, and gyros to cater to everyone’s tastes. The staff was exceptionally friendly, the restrooms were clean, and it was clear they have a loyal customer base, which is what you’d expect from such a charming little spot with lots of character.

I had the Big Italian Sub and it exceeded my expectations. The young woman behind the counter was friendly and very helpful. Your prices are quite reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

Had to wait 20 minutes for my sandwich. Was neatly busy working for lunch with only 2 people. Sandwich was good. Many meats and toppings.

Loved it. Had a foot long on gluten free bread done just the way I like it. Great staff and service.
