Our server was great... Our cook not so much. Asked for a steak medium well, came out almost living. Asked for it to be cooked till it was very light pink, no blood on plate came back burnt as hell. Not caramelized just straight up burnt. Sides were not replaced. Still has to wipe original blood juices off, and they were cold. My other party member wanted medium rare, it came out over done as well. Wasted night. Wasted dinner. Won't be coming to this again..trust that is black burn coming through the A1 sauce. I was trying to be nice and just eat it. Until the first bite when it hit that it was not just browned and dehydrated, it was burnt. Dry enough to go in a 25 year survival pack. I’ve never had a cook at CB behave in such a way before
I bought a Double Chocolate Coke Cake for my sister's birthday. It was DELICIOUS!! Moist and flavorful. The price is a little steep. But, since my sister loved it, I think it was worth it.Parking: They have a great setup for curbside pickup.
We were a party of 8 one side of the table got the food , about 20 mins later the other side got theirs. No discounts were offered. We weren't looking for anything free but how about a 10% for the problem. We were told short staff. All the while other tables party of 4 were being fed before our 4 that were not feed Terrible , Didn't make any sense to any of us .
It’s been a long time since I’ve been to one of these. Now I remember why. Yes we had a party of 8, but we were not the only one. They had just seated a larger group right before us.Server took our order, but seemed a bit flustered which was the downfall of this experience. After 30+ minutes, some food came out. Only problem was, it was for half the group. The other half came after another good 20 minutes. Some of the orders were wrong and the standard excuse was the kitchen is short staffed. It can’t be that short as other orders were coming out. Also there was some convoluted process of how the order was put in to the kitchen. If you are short staffed and can’t deal with groups then don’t seat them. The sausage patties were pretty dry and sickly looking. The Gravy for the biscuits was rubbery. It takes some skill to mess up breakfast. The cashiers were a bit surly as well. This was the worst example of southern hospitality. What’s that saying you have here for challenged people? Bless their hearts? Yeah they need all the blessings they can get. There are other better options for food in the area, take advantage of them and avoid this hot mess.
