Callie's Hot Little Biscuit Hq

I have been a fan of your show and have been eager to try your biscuits for quite some time. When I was planning my trip to South Carolina, I made it a point to visit Meeting Street just to sample them. To my surprise, when I ordered the biscuits and gravy, the biscuit I received was doughy on the bottom. My friend ordered three small biscuits, and they were all hard on top. I was really disappointed. Ultimately, I ended up getting better biscuits and gravy at the hotel where I was staying.

I haven't visited a Callie's restaurant yet, but I've tried their products from the store. I really love the biscuit crisps; they pair wonderfully with pimento cheese.

I discovered what looks like mold when I opened my product. I reached out to Callie’s corporate office, but they shifted the responsibility onto the retailer and didn’t seem concerned about quality control when I raised my concerns. I proposed an $8 refund for the inedible item, but they deflected that as well. The product had a sell-by date that was 25 days away from my purchase date. Just imagine how it would have looked after another 25 days on the shelf!

We had bacon, egg, and cheese biscuits, and a birthday biscuit. They were not memorable. Dry, and without a lot of taste. Sorry, this was a recommendation from a friend, but did not work for us. The icing on the birthday biscuit was good, however.

These are some of the best biscuits I have had, growing up in the south that is a hard claim to live by. Hubby had biscuits and gravy and I had the bacon and cheese.
