Salty's Fish Burger Co.

Salty’s used to be really good and I’d drive over to Holloway’s as in my opinion, it offered the best fish and chips in Cairns. This was unfortunately 6-12 months back now.The last 3 visits have been of poor quality, vastly reduced portions, soggy batter and dripping with oil. Please go back to your old way Salty’s, you had a really great product ..... the prices are not of a budget fish and chippery.Sadly tonight was my last time.....

Saltys used to be the best fish and chips in cairns! We always got generous servings. Unfortunately they have changed to very small portions and have upped their prices. The sauces have even been reduced on their chicken and the quality has been fair. For a family pack it's now 55 dollars for 4 pieces of fish and chips and 2 calamari rings. It used to be that plus 6 calamari rings and a few prawn cutlets plus onion rings.

We have had food from there a hand full of times over the past 6 or so months. The burgers have always been amazing! However we had fish and chips today and the piece of fish I got was tiny and hardly worth the price I paid. Chips are generally pretty good but the opening times are hit and miss.
