Amazing food!!! Always get a chicken burger combo, coke, no salt. My missus gets the vege burger combo with sweet chilli sauce!!!! Just moved to cooya beach where the fish and chips are rubbish and never open!! Just wish they could deliver!!!! Feeling hungry

Grabbed a scrumptious fish burger there today....best freshest I've had in ages. Big chunk of perfectly crumbed barra on a tasty fresh roll with a nice crisp salad delish tarter. Thanks guys xxx

Very polite people, good choice of food, perfect fish and chips. The steak burger is delicious. You can ask for different toppings than the menu. Good music usually playing. Close to the beach that you can stroll to for eating if you want. They have lots of tables and chairs for eating in.

The first thing that gives away the quality food is the name. Byron Bay fish and chips shop from the late seventies? Then the unpretentious decor being posters of Toots Maytells, Henry Rollins and individual artists of the annual Byron Blues Festival who played locally at The Tanks. Then the funky laid back music makes one think 'This ain 't the usual fried chicken Shop! ' Wild caught local fish any way you like it, hormone free chicken but you can still buy a hot chiko roll and coke if you must. Highly recommended as the best fish and chip shop in Australia. Well that is if you are discerning.

Fast, friendly, fresh....everything you want in a fish chip shop! Their burgers are awesome too!
