Phoenician Market - North Brunswick

This is a primitive little shop that is family owners and was a cornerstone for my family getting the middle eastern foods as long as I remember... more than 15 years. The shop is always clean, the staff is always friendly, the prices are very fair, the shop / parking is easy to reach, and if you are in the time of the weekends the Pita bread is hot and fresh baked by the sister bakery over the street. If you are middle eastern/Egyptian as I am, and from the area it is likely that you are already visiting this business. If you do not want to branch your palate to some of the best cuisine in the world, here you will find your building blocks.

As soon as I walked through the door and caught a whiff of the spices, I knew I was in for a treat. Even as a Greek, I was pleasantly surprised. The market was clean, well-stocked, and the prices were reasonable. I'll definitely return to shop here the next time I’m in the area.

The staff at this restaurant are exceptionally kind, and the quality of the Mediterranean food, especially the Egyptian and Lebanese dishes, is outstanding. The establishment is always very clean, which is why I’m willing to drive 45 minutes to an hour just to pick up what I need. Thank you for providing such excellent service!

The staff is friendly and helpful, and there's a wide variety of products available! This is my favorite Middle Eastern store.
