Wasabi Japanese - North Branford

Love this place. Great sushi, as well as great Mexican food. Nice bar and atmosphere. The outdoor area is pretty cool, too.

We overlooked this place while Googling or ordering in, must have driven by there hundreds of times without realizing it was there. We went for a late dinner and we were surprised to find a decent menu selection, a nice eating area and friendly staff (who were also busy training new staff but remained attentive). We ordered a few different rolls and an appetizer. Everything was good, fresh (avocado was a bit overripe but easy to overlook when the rest is so good). We will be back to try more.

Waited 40 mins for food, 20 of which we were waiting for menus and water. finally got our food which was two rolls, rice and noodles but my rice took longer for some reason. only got one set of utensils so i had to eat my roll with my hands, overall just so disappointed. this place used to be so much better but i don’t think i’ll be coming back here which is unfortunate because it was my favorite sushi place before they got new owners.

The taco were not tacos and the meat was inediblely spicy. Quesadillas tasted burnt. Beer was nice and cold. Will not return nor recommend.

It was delicious. I had a Teriyaki Salmon Bento Box… chef makes a wonderful Teriyaki…. It’s not icky sweet like some make. Compliments to the chef Thank you very much I'm here, chef
