Caruso's Grocery Pike Rose

This restaurant has a fantastic foundation – it's a new Italian spot that embraces old-school traditions, offering classic dishes like spaghetti and meatballs and eggplant parmigiana, all presented with a modern twist.

We celebrated a birthday and let the waiter know, but unfortunately, they didn't do anything special for the occasion. I ordered an espresso martini, but it tasted pre-made and lacked the expected foam. The old fashioned drink was made with scotch instead of whiskey, and it was served without a cherry, making it overly bitter. Our server didn't even check in on how we liked our drinks. We ordered calamari, which was a generous portion, and the garlic shrimp scampi was delicious and served hot. However, the chicken parmesan was cold, which was quite disappointing. The restaurant is new, and it's clear that the bartenders and waitstaff need more training to enhance their service.

We had a fantastic dining experience! The restaurant was quite busy, which added to the lively atmosphere, and we really enjoyed watching the kitchen bustle from our table. The tiramisu was a delightful treat, and all the pasta dishes we ordered were absolutely delicious.

Went back for the chicken parmigiana but it wasn’t very good this time. The restaurant is LOUD!!

Great experience! Speaking rose was a great accompaniment to our meal. Started with the Caesar salad, shared two pastas and then the chicken parm. We didn’t save room for dessert, but it sounded great!
