Silver Diner - North Bethesda

Looking for a good breakfest at a reasonable price then check out this place. We were ready for a day of walking around the National Mall and needed to recharge with a hard break festival to continue. All my friends tried different menu items and they were all great. Classic motto dinner with old school feeling. The food was great, the service was so... they were so busy that a factor would have played. The prices were cheap and the shares were solid. Pair of locations in the area, this is through a shopping center, so I can imagine his busy all the time...

This place is nice for a diner. The staff is friendly, service is great. This food is average meaning yes I would come back again. Only downfall that it is slightly higher on the food prices than other local places. I do recommend this place as it was to me by my friend. Great diner feel with some delicious food. $38 bucks with coffee and ice tea for 2 people. TheGreenHat

This is not your everyday diner. The quality of the food is really good. We got Lamb Merguez Burger and Lemon chicken picatta with Lemon caper sauce, cinnamon chipotle farro with zucchini and tomato. Both the dishes were really good plus they offer healthy selection with calorie count which I really appreciated. The lemon caper sauce and the farro that was served with the chicken were specially really good. This place is a great to get an American diner experience.

I can see why this place is so popular. They serve their brunch, lunch and dinner menu at all times of the day which makes it so much better because you have so many options to chose from. Not to mention, their food is great. Their milkshakes are out of this world and I HIGHLY recommend you all to try the NUTELLA AND BANANA milkshake. The little chunks of banana were cold and firm (not mushy) which made it so much better and the Nutella was blended in so well with the banana. Trust me, even if you're not a huge fan of bananas, you have to try this one. We also ordered their CHEESE FRIES with extra cheese and extra scallion and since you can't go wrong with that, they were pretty damn good too. I ordered their CHICKEN AND WAFFLES which NOTE would have been so much better if the waffles didn't have pecan in them. I don't know how I missed that on the menu but that was the only thing I didn't like about this place, or rather, about this dish and so I couldn't finish the waffle. The chicken and the gravy was excellent though. Lastly, we ordered their CHOCOLATE CHIP PANCAKES which were fluffy, huge and so filling that my friend could only finish half and had the other half for dinner. All in all, would definitely visit this place again, try more milkshakes and possibly their other dishes, NOT their strange pecan waffles.

My son who is 5 years old wanted to eat dinner at the Silver Diner in Rockville, MD this evening. Even though it was a 20 minute wait it was worth the wait. A waiter named Anderson, I couldn't have asked for a better waiter!!! He was pleasant and even though I am a young person with a child I wasn't judged or mistreated in any way. Anderson was helpful and got me everything I needed. My son fell asleep in the restraunt and Anderson helped me carry my son's food and milk to my car. He offered and I think that is the kindest and most thoughtful customer service I have ever received. Thank you Anderson! If you dine at the Silver Diner, request, if possible waiter Anderson. I think Anderson should receive recognition for his wonderful and generous customer service!!!
