Zao-San Japanese - North Adelaide

New owners! this place is my new local favorite; fresh, tasty eating, beautiful service and a small, picturesque restaurant. Byo. the chicken spits, rarmen and sushi are all delicious.

For the first time tried Zao-san and ordered a Teriyaki chicken bento for which is a little exxy. it came with rice, salat, vegie spring roll, edamame, crumb brewed and a bite of corroke potato cake. the chicken leg was made beautiful, crispy skin and beautiful Charred aroma. the sauce was ok, but there was much too much of it would come back.

Great place for easy authentic home style Japanese cuisine. the service was great and the fresh green tea was refreshing. try this place for a casual eating experience

This is really so! it looks very unpleasant, but eating here is really fresh and the aromen are amazing! really cheap and so this has become one of my favorite Friday afternoon takeaway options. teriyaki chicken bento box is a winner!

Rating It's ok . A simple lunch bar place near my place of work. We ordered tofu salad which was nice. Salmon roll was slightly fishy. I think the salmon could be fresher. The katsu salad was ok. Service and quality is alright though nothing to rave about. Affordable lunch when you are around the neighbourhood.
