It is difficult to imagine that the five regions are tired. this time we returned to a birthday party with two extras that were new to the experience (and loved it! and the birthday boy was not disappointed by the fine service and pampered he received and received. the amazing eating (a menu that was designed for him ha ha ha of course! . the lambrook menu was one of the best yet. weine perhaps not so a highlight but wow, the cook really with the tooth fishing and the baked Camembert dishes especially -- the latter felt warming and decadent .mmmmmmmmmmmm and I know it is a “small thing” but it was quite funny that everyone will get our own brot and butter curs/plate if butter is good, they need to definiti pascal and his personal: as always, just perfect. thank you.
I will mostly let the photos do the talking but this dinner was exemplary and the ‘Serafino’ menu was probably the best of the menus we’ve had with the duck ragu, the sublime marron and one of the snacks, being the stracciatella with peach,...being the real standouts. The little pork arancini was really good too but it actually didn’t need the cheese on top as the flavour shone on its own. The wine pairings were even better than on previous visits we thought, especially the Grenache and also Serafino’s sparkling was actually quite different but lovely. Pascal is a true professional of his industry and made it a great night for us, and we could tell the same for other tables. One suggestion is that consideration could be given to, for an appropriate price adjustment, making the dessert and cheese course interchangeable for those who aren’t as fond of sweet dishes.
We dined during the Serafino month and the food was excellent. There was a bit of a wait (arrived at 7.30 and by 9.30 we had only had snacks and entree) but then the duck pasta arrived and we were extremely happy. They did top...up my Grenache due to the wait and I was very appreciative, as it was the most fantastic wine of the night. They were also very accommodating to my wife’s dietary preferences. Will definitely dine again.
Had a lovely night at hill of grace. Service was impeccable, food was lovely and overall atmosphere was great. The pricing is in accordance with fine dining but you definitely get your money's worth. Would recommend for special occasions.
