Bagarstugan - Norrkoping

We decided to spontaneously drop in and were surprised they had a few vegan options! Despite it being kind of expensive, I decided to treat myself with a cake, and it turned out to be one of the best cakes I've had!

They were out of the vegan burgers so we settled on the expensive vegan platter, first we got only one although we had ordered and paid for two, then the second one had a meat filled spring roll. We got a “it wasn’t on purpose” from the chef. Except for that horrible experience the food was over fried and not very tasty.

The Buddha bowl featured delicious crispy tofu, but the rice was too soft and there was not enough dressing, making it bland. The flatbread pizza was more like a focaccia and was quite oily. The fudge chocolate cake we ordered was heavenly, but unfortunately, the margarita drink was extremely bland and watered down.

The restaurant is very cozy and the food is delicious. My friend and I shared the vegan flatbread and vegan burger, both of which were tasty. We will definitely be returning to try more of the vegan dishes on the menu!
