The service was good when we were there. I guess it depends on who you get. I feel like they got the message and work on the service. The food is good. Some of the meats have not seasoned, but we saw the other reviews and brought our own.
First, Korean BBQ is usually a home cooking at the table. That means I wasn't disappointed at all. You bring the meat you choose, cook it and eat it and then order more! That was the most authentic Korean I had in a very long time. After living in Korea for years, I am very picky about my Korean and that was wonderful!
This is a decent place for all you can eat Korean BBQ. The banchan (appetizers/snacks) aren 't the best I 've had, but neither are the ones I 've had in Dallas (Gen or Jin). The meat is fine though. I think my favorite round of meat was the squid, baby octopus, and jumbo shrimp. Every Korean place I 've been to seems to have a somewhat different flavor or style for their meats, so I don 't know if it 's authentic but I can say everything I had tasted good. The service is good too- it 's key in these places. You need them to constantly bring out meat so you 're not staring at an empty grill. They did indeed bring clean grills and our meat order on a regular basis. They are very generous with the meat so it completely fills your grill each time. Yes, you do have to cook it yourself, but it is pretty easy. Simply flip the meat around, and pull it off the grill when it is done to your liking. It 's something fun to do with your friends or family during a casual and relaxed meal. Don 't go here if you want to spend 25 minutes eating and leave! I think between the sushi rolls (also all you can eat) plus the new lower price make this place a great value. And I don 't have to drive to Dallas either! That is why I give them 5 stars.
I had a really good time here. I got a couple of looks for coming in on my own but don't let that stop you! The squid is bomb, the pork belly is yummy but not the best I'v ever had, and the N Y steak is a giant disappointment. Next time I come I'll be trying to season it myself with salt and pepper because it is blander then oatmeal. The service is alright. I will say that the poor girl who was serving me needed more training on how to cut the meat in a timely manner hey she was there for almost 10 minutes. But all and all it was a great time. Lunch is 12.99$ per person and dinner is 22.00$ per person. Good place.
If you don't set your expectations to high and just looking for a lot of food on the cheap, then this is a good place. A lot of the meats were overly sweet. I just had a tone of pork belly (not maintained). The banchan was ok, just bland. Just wished they had lettuce or rice paper, garlic slices and jalapeños to make wraps.
