I digress. I wanted English pub food and found tasteless, cheap made eating too high trips. we ordered the chicken, cod and shrimp teller. it should be huge. the cod was thin sliced slippery filets, the garnels were medium-sized and the bun were small tender: all over cooked. it was served with burned pommes and sour coleslaw, which tasted as if it were from an ice cream. we also ordered the burger. it was used as a floor lining on a pulpit ****. it came to the table dripping with fat and served again with burned frits. the patty was fresh from a freezer pack that they can buy at wal mart. topped with about one tsp of shredded salat, a small tomat disc, a circle of red swirl and a disc of plastic cheese square. all these wonderful for only then we got the bill and I was on an extra dollar for the disc of the American cheese I had not ordered. the manager came around and asked if the food was wonderful and when I answered that the burger was from a freezer pack, he did not see a problem with it. for luck I won at the casino because this meal was a sweat.
Great food and service. I had the chicken potpie on a rainy day and it was delicious. the crust was fluffy and the broth was rich and wonderful.
My man is here recently and loved eating! we had the scotch eggs and they were delicious! he commanded the färger and the maische and I got the braincake. they were both great! The Shep Piee was so delicious and the fergers were so tender that they could be cut with a fork. so much better than autographs! eating was hot and fresh and the service was great. we will come back in definitiv, even if we are not a game of luck.
