180 Meridian Grill - Norman

I've gathered with various groups of friends at 180 Meridian Grill, and I've never been let down. We always take advantage of the happy hour—the specials are fantastic!

The food was enjoyable and lived up to the expectations set by the menu. Each dish was prepared as anticipated. While it's nice for a restaurant to put its own spin on classic recipes to stand out from other Asian eateries, this one didn't quite achieve that. The bar menu was limited and lacked any signature cocktails; although the bartender was efficient, they strictly adhered to standard recipes. Overall, it’s a solid and dependable option for dining, making it an excellent choice for lunch. I would definitely return.

180 Meridian began our meal with a classic selection of Oriental soups. Once we had savored the steak au poivre and grilled salmon, we truly appreciated their culinary skills. Highly recommended.

We had dinner. Started with the Tuna tower. It is great! The duck was also very good. My wife had the chocolate cake which was wonderful.

I was not overwhelmed by the food. We all agreed that it was average, which may be good for Norman. It was not bad, we were just looking for a good asian restaurant and did not find it. There were two other large parties there and I think that is why the service was slow. However, the music was very good. There was a young lady singing and playing the guitar and she has a lot of talent. I hope she finds a better venue to showcase what she has to offer.
