Eating and the staff is very good. but for years no new dish comes on the menu. except seasonal 3x in the year. I also find this overpriced, like sparing, moaning or geese.

We visited twice for dinner on our recent visit to Dusseldorf. Despite, the waitstaff speaking no English I enjoyed listening to my wife deftly navigate with her German. The staff was so friendly and welcoming and per tradition replaced our liter glasses of Füchschen...Alt without fail. Although owned by Greeks who emigrated to Germany, the restaurant provided a very local flavor with a complete absence of tourists. Regulars stopped in for a beer and a bite to eat. We enjoyed a plate of the white asparagus and the wiener schnitzel with panfried potatoes and onions. The boiled potatoes that my wife ordered with the asparagus unsurprisingly was less successful.
