eat TOKYO - Nordrhein-Westfalen

We visited eat Tokyo for lunch mid May. On arrival we were not greeted, but I all the staff were gathered at the rear of the restaurant and seemed reluctant to approach us until we sat ourselves down. The menu was large and clear with full color pictures of each dish. We each chose a bento box, I had chicken Katso for 8.5 euro and my wife chose a sushi box for 15 euro. Our drinks arrived quickly along with a small bowl of miso soup but this is where things started to go wrong as our waitress spilled one bowl all over the table and splashed quite a lot of hot soup on my wife's legs. I don't think she realized how much had spilled on my wife as she was more concerned about the about cleaning the table. There was no apology offered which at the time we put down to the language barrier. The food arrived and was excellent, and probably the best Japanese meal we have had. I paid the bill and asked to speak with the manager as we wanted an apology from the waitress for the spillage, she spoke with her manager and we waited for him to come over but after five minutes it was obvious he wasn't coming so I went to him. It turned out that the waitress hadn't told him of either the original incident or our request to speak with him. He apologized profusely and refunded the cost of the meal, which we had not asked him to do and explained that he had been recently transferred from the London branch to address the poorly trained staff. We left on good terms and would definitely recommend the restaurant for the food and would hope that the staff training goes well.

The rice has unfortunately not cost fresh and the delivery came almost 20 minutes too early. what do I give a certain delivery time?

I am grids. a big ess-tokyo fan, but I must say that the last 2 times the rice in sushi was not as delicious/fresh as usual.

Very fast delivery despite Friday night and all very tasty.

The sushi were, as always at eat tokyo, top. the delivery was reliable.
