On the contrary: Even from the lunch table you get well fed and we love the personal service. Also on occasion of small family celebrations we have fed several times there and there was never reason to complain. Who wants to eat good and inexpensive German-Chinese is really well served there. As dessert, I can especially recommend in Conitreau flambierte baked banana.

Again I was on my way to the airport in Hamburg and wanted to take the time for a lunch until the departure. This time I chose the China Restaurant Yu at Lake Ohech. It has three own parking spaces right in front of the house, as well as the parking situation in this area is difficult. When I arrived, I was hardly, but kindly greeted by a German service, on my question about a table for a person, she left me the free choice in the still completely empty restaurant. I took place at a table in the window and got the menu right away. In the front part of the map you will find lunch, about 20 different dishes at the unit price of 8.00 €, which contains one of three different soups or a spring roll as an appetizer. I ordered noodles with chicken and as an appetizer a spring roll, with a small specific (0.2l for 2.50). The service thanked and went to the counter where it first passed through the food order into the kitchen and then invaded the specific. Shortly afterwards she came back to the table, served the special and added a glass of plum wine. Operation The operation dressed entirely in black seemed to me a little word karg at the beginning, but very friendly. But then the word Kargness lost quickly, and a little joke was scattered. She was very attentive even when the restaurant gradually filled herself. An African guest gave her the map in English without demand. Food The spring roll was obviously freshly roasted, the thin dough stuck during cutting. The filling of many sprouts and little minced meat was hot and delicious. A plate for me and a warm-up plate was first brought a little later, immediately afterwards a plate with food was placed on the warm-up plate. The mixture of noodles, vegetables and meat saw appetite. The noodles were found as relatively long, tasty as the usual noodles. It distributes spits and pieces of carrots and lobes, and of course the pieces of chicken meat. The meat was tender and of good quality, the whole food was hot and recognisably freshly prepared. Tastefully it was good, but could tolerate a small “sharpener” in the form of Sambal Oelek. All right, it's on the table. Surroundings The guest room is furnished in traditional style, as you introduce a China restaurant in Germany, with furniture made of reddish tinted wood and red upholstery on red needle felt tiles. The tables were covered with white fabric tablecloths and red blankets covered with paper napkins and cutlery, with a memento with salt, pepper, soy sauce and Sambal Oelek and also a wind light. The ceiling is designed with wooden cassettes, on the wooden space dividers are the widely used glass panels with floor or etched pictures of brass posts. A dividing wall with colorful glass images covers the entrances of the toilets. They are designed inside in modern white grey, the installed technology is modern and functional, cleanliness perfect. Cleanliness As already mentioned, cleanliness of the toilet was perfect, the same applies to the restaurant itself, I did not notice any negative points there.
