Les Essarts - Nonsard-Lamarche

We stopped here after bike riding around Lac Madine. We ordered assisette crudités as an appetizer which was very refreshing after the bike ride! Our meals consisted of veal, steak and the tartine vosgienne. All our meals were very good! I especially enjoyed my tartine which was served with a salad. Will go back next time we are in the area.

Had a very relaxing lunch here the other day. My husband ordered the menu of the day faux filet with vegetables and frites and souffle glace with plum sauce (out of this world! . I had their tartine with tuna and basil. The tartine was essentially an open face pizza type sandwich on crusty grilled bread. The tomato sauce was delicious, and the serving was very large! Service was prompt (we 're now used to Belgian speed service i.e., very slow and friendly. Limited English was spoken. Be careful not to come too late we were turned down at several nearby restaurants (already full for lunch and here they had to ask the chef before confirming that they would be able to seat us. it wasn 't too late (around 1:30 I think , but as most restaurants do just 1 seating, they end up filling up fast, especially in smaller towns. Our total with coffee and tea was very reasonable EUR 30 or so. The restaurant has a lovely outdoor terrace, which we enjoyed!

En soirée, bien reçus,cadre agréable avec terrasse,carte simple mais pas de mauvaise surprise,viandes de qualité, produits frais, plats copieuxpour un prix très abordable.

Typiquement le resto sympa où vous passez un moment agréable et repartez avec le sentiment d'avoir visé juste ! La qualité des produits est en concurrence avec l'accueil des patrons mais, dans les 2 cas, le niveau est très haut ......

Situé près du lac de madine, le restaurant était quasi complet. Le service mérite vraiment un coup de chapeau du début à la fin avec beaucoup d'attention et d efficacité.Choisissez la terrasse grande et ombragée.Attention, pas de pizza comme sur la photo mais un menu du jour, qq plats et des formules plat dessert.Pas déçu par un cabillaud frit très moelleux. A signaler les excellentes frites maison.Salade un peu pauvre et peu copieuse et point faible sur les desserts : pourquoi pas une bonne tarte maison ?Nous y retournerons à coup sûr.
