Le Duplex Bar Restaurant Lounge

The feeling and the decoration was not for us. a few bright lights misplaced and chairs is not for everyone. the food is really delivered. Although it felt a bit commercial, we were pleasantly surprised by the edifice! everything was on the square and the eicoko. dessert was very interesting and beautiful!

My son and I visited noirmoutier for the grand depart of these years tour de france. to come after an early start over the bridge (before it closed at 7.00 o'clock,) it had come a long day to midday. after a circle of local...Eateries, after the island was a little less inhabited, we came to lick. they have a 19e 2-course lunch menu- I didn't have the best expectations, but starving came first! but wow, we were both blown away from the aromen and presentation of 4 wonderfully directed. not only eating was fantastic, but also the staff was great. to recommend - they will not be disappointed!

We stopped at speculations and gave my English translation was poor and google translation was even worse a nice lady the owner / chef, as it was offered for her man to come out and translate for us. what a wonderful...and friendly guy makes us very welcome and after the explanation of the formula 14.90 euro that we both chose. what an absolute joy the meal was the main was super boiled piece beautiful cod with new kartoffels and delicious sauce. we both swallowed the meal with french bread to mix the sauce. the dessert was also delicious with very fine cut ananas and a boule mango ice cream to complicate it. fantastic and afterwards the chef came out to talk to us much better English than my deaf French!!! he was so kind and seriously interested in knowing how we felt about our meal and when we enjoyed eating. in all honesty we both said that it was an exceptionally pleasant eating and for me about the best lunch time I had in many a year. the owner/cook was so sweet and it was very obvious that he has a passion for cooking food well and he took care of the customer. not always the case in most restaurants I have visited in the last few years. when they visit noirmoutier on their vacation, they give le duplex a try we were sure we did it. if we were back in the opposite, I would definitely revisit the restaurant 100%

Loved the place!!! It's a very Clean and nice restaurant, for every tourist. The food is quickly prepared and the Taste is very good.
