Barley Island Brewing Company

I would like to share my experience with this restaurant, although I hesitate to recommend it. We waited for an hour and a half without receiving our food. To clarify, there were only 12 people dining, and we were a party of 10. After the long wait with no food or drink refills, the staff informed us that they only had one cook, which they insisted was not their fault. The situation was so frustrating that we decided to leave, paid for our drinks, and ended up going to Applebee's for a more timely dinner. The management even suggested that as an alternative if we wanted food sooner than a 1.5-hour wait on a Wednesday night. It was such a disappointing experience that I even left my sweater behind and didn't bother to return for it. Overall, it was uncomfortable and unfortunate, and I regret spending $40 waiting for a meal that never arrived. The management and service were terrible. I urge you not to waste your time.

I used to visit this place when it was called the Livery under Gary's ownership. I'm really glad that Jeff maintained the same decor; without it, it would just feel like another bar. I'm truly saddened to hear it's closing because it's such a unique spot, and the people there are always wonderful.

I absolutely love Barley! It's one of the most amazing places to visit. The food is fantastic, and the service from Michael the bartender is wonderful. However, I did have an experience that has made me reconsider returning to a place I used to enjoy so much. I was asked to leave after I accidentally spilled a little water while trying to remove a seed that got stuck in my throat. I had cleaned up my mess, which was very minimal, but was still told I had to go. I'm not very pleased with how that situation was handled, and I think it needs to be addressed. Despite this issue, I still highly recommend Barley!

This is the best brewery in the area! The beer is amazing, and I dare you to find a better pork tenderloin sandwich anywhere! The staff is top-notch, truly unparalleled. It was great to see Bobby again! If you haven't been here yet, give it a try—I'm sure you'll agree that it's an excellent place to eat and drink!

Nice place, can dine in or sit up at bar even have a lower part that has pool tables and darts TV, etc. Very nice layout!!!
