I usually don't like writing negative reviews, but today I feel I have to. I placed an online order for a sandwich to be ready at 12:30. When I arrived at 12:31, my sandwich had not even been started. The employee asked if I was the online order, but had already asked someone else the same question. It ended up taking a while to get my order started, and when they finally did, it was wrong. I had to forgo my lunch, but the cookies looked good so I asked about them. The employee told me they were 70% off, but I didn't have enough cash so I left without them. I think better customer service would have been to apologize for the delay and offer me a free cookie. I'm not sure if Subway doesn't allow this or if the employee didn't know better. It seemed like there was a lack of direction and poorly trained staff. I will still go back to Subway, but today's experience only warrants a 2-star rating.
I'm usually not one to leave negative reviews, but today is the day. I ordered my sandwich online for a 12:30 pick-up time. When I arrived at 12:31, my sandwich had not even been started. The employee asked me if I had placed an online order, to which I replied yes. After checking with another person, they finally began making my sandwich. Unfortunately, my first sandwich fell on the floor - accidents happen. When they remade my order, it was incorrect, and when I pointed this out, the employee admitted to looking at the wrong order. I settled for skipping the cookie since I didn't have enough change and didn't want to use my debit card for such a small purchase. Good customer service would have been offering the cookie on the house due to the delay in my order, but I believe either Subway doesn't allow this or the employee was unaware. There didn't seem to be any strong leadership or well-trained employees present. I will give Subway another chance in the future, but today, I can only give a 2-star rating.
My wife and I both ordered footlong sandwiches at this restaurant. We had a coupon and when we asked a question, the lady serving us was unable to answer it. I requested soft bread for my sandwich, but unfortunately, the bread for both mine and my wife's sandwiches was not soft - it was crumbling everywhere. When asked if I wanted my sandwich warmed up, I said yes. However, instead of putting it in the oven, the lady took my sandwich to the back and microwaved it. When I questioned why it wasn't put in the oven, she explained that their oven was down, which would have been helpful to know beforehand. Overall, the staff at this restaurant needs to improve their communication with customers.
