Despite hearing mixed reviews about the restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. We placed our order at the counter and found a table on the patio, which had large tables and plenty of umbrellas for shade. Our drinks arrived quickly and we enjoyed uninterrupted conversation until our meals arrived promptly with attentive service. I particularly enjoyed the shrimp tacos, which had a delicious local twist. My husband also enjoyed his turkey sandwich and slaw, taking half of it home for later. We would definitely consider returning to Willow as a fun stop before hitting the golf course.
I have to say, Willow has had some challenges in the past. However, with the addition of a charismatic new waitress named CeeCee, things are really looking up. The food is still delicious and they now have a full liquor license. But what sets this place apart is CeeCee's excellent customer service and caring attitude. The rest of the staff could learn a thing or two from her. We are big fans of CeeCee!
It has been a year and a half, but this experience is still very disappointing. I attempted to show support for local restaurants during the covid shutdowns by ordering take-out. Unfortunately, my burger was cold and undercooked in the middle. It was not rare, but raw. This was extremely distasteful. I cannot understand how difficult it is to cook a burger patty properly.
The fish tacos were amazing! I'd definitely order them again. Large portions. My mom got fish and chips and said they were really good. My husband got pastrami said it was good, but needed more mustard. Order mustard on the side if you like it tangy. We went during the week and got seated right away. The service was excellent!
Ate here a few times... food is decent.. service is whatever.. most employees seem overwhelmed. I'm always hoping the service might have improved since it's the only local restaurant off of Willow. Just wish it was a more enjoyable experience since the place has potential to be a great restaurant. It's set up fast food style where you order food and sit down, you can't keep a tab running unless you sit at the bar.. if you just so happen to want a second drink you'll need to make your way back to the front.. stand in line and order another drink ... swipe your card again .. so odd and inconvenient. Anyways... they have a fridge with beer you can grab and go home I recommend doing just that. Shuffle board is good job on that
