That was it! we bought a hut here in ninilchik and decided to try keen kow at last. nina throws into the kitchen! with our food.

The best tom kha gai suppe I've ever had! I am trying to bring my healed here so that they cook (if I get some).

I've eaten at Keen Kow twice now. Both meals have been great. The owner, who's the host, is friendly and helpful. His wife's the cook , friendly and helpful. It's a small restaurant (5 tables? but Ninilchik is a small community. You can vary how spicey your meal is. A #3 will blow your socks off (I had a #2, which was plenty hot . We were served a small light salad before we ordered along with flavored water (plain, orange or cucumber are the choices. Definitely a place to stop when driving between Home and north.

They have a great menu I eat here often.. Yesterday I ordered take-out, when I got home I was very disappointed by the portion size.. Enough for a ten year old, not for a grown man.. 2 items ordered for almost $39.00.. Nothing fancy curry fried rice some Tom sum soup! I will debate going back, such a bummer..
