Hong Yun - Nîmes

This Chinese eatery was a short 10 mins walk from my hotel on a rainy evening. Uncrowded , no reservations required. Proprietor and staff were friendly and helpful. Food is Chinese with some dishes to local tastes. They were tasty and quality reasonable relative to the price. I had the frogs’ legs as well as stir fried chicken with veg. Both were okay. Complimentary prawn crackers a nice touch. Recommended if you are in the mood for something inexpensive, easy and hassle free.

We arrived around 7pm in Nîmes and looked for something local with good ratings. And wanted something a little different. This place is fantastic! On a nice quiet plaza. The food is impeccable. Some great Chinese, Vietnamese, and French flavours! And the staff is soooo friendly. Was very very happy we chose to eat here!!

This is another hidden gem. The staff was wonderful as was the food. The chicken egg rolls were the crispies we’ve ever had. The sweet and sour chicken had good flavor and the fried noodles with beef were also very tasty. Having been to China many times this was about as close as you can get.

Great address in Nîmes for fans of Asian cuisine and small budgets. Terrace, service and products, everything won us over.

A truly perfect welcome, pleasant waiters and an excellent meal! The beef with black mushrooms was delicious. Thank you for this pleasant moment!
