Mr. Hero - Niles

I've fond memories of enjoying great Roman burgers since I was young, but this place fell short. They served tomatoes cut in half, offered only half the usual amount of salad, and included half the slices of deli meat. My friend ordered a hot butter cheesesteak, but it came with barely any mushrooms or onions. Thank you, Mr. Hero, for disappointing us.

I always enjoy their food; it's my family's favorite restaurant.

This was my first visit, and it exceeded all my friend's recommendations. The owner was fantastic, and the staff were amazing. I highly recommend stopping by to try the Roman burgers!

Great place. Roman Burger is the best sandwich around...

We got sandwiches for lunch for the first time. My husband brought them home from Nile?s location (15-20 minute drive). When I opened my smoked turkey, the lettuce is brown and slimy. So was my husbands Italian sub. The lettuce, It is gross lettuce. When I called to tell the owners, they offered for me to bring it back and they make a new one, but we were already home. It?s too far to drive for their error. I was also told that the lettuce is fresh. I wish they would?ve at least offered to redeem themselves at a future date instead of the only option to be a 20 minute drive back right now. We will never be back.
