After visiting several branches of Chaya in Tokyo, I was pleased to discover one in Niigata City. Unfortunately, this location lacks vegan options. The menu mainly consists of vegan dishes, but like the other branches, the portion sizes are small and focus on health and presentation. This may leave some customers unsatisfied unless they order extra. The prices are not particularly cheap and there are fewer options compared to the Tokyo branches. However, it is still a decent place to enjoy a light meal, tea, and a small slice of cake. The tea comes with free refills, which is a nice touch.
