The restaurant Altes Landhaus is in a quiet location not far from the centre of Nieblum. They offer nothing fancy but gut solid fare that is well presented and excellently cooked. Particularly fish should be regarded as their speciality and is always worth a try. Service can be a bit over efficient (I know that sounds impossible but believe me they manage to do exactly that). Which means if you want to order two drinks, for example, – let’s say a glass of water AND a glass of wine – make sure you grab them by their shirt sleeves first and get a good grip. Otherwise they’ll be halfway back to the kitchen by the time you have finished the word ‘water’. The restaurant is open every day except Tuesdays from 12pm – 2pm and from 6pm about 10pm. The lunch menu is a scaled down version of the evening menu! Recommended.

Nice quite location, friendly staff, excellent service, be sure to make a reservation as it might get difficult to get a place for a dinner

Portions and quality of food were good and fairly priced. Nieblum is a very nice small village, and this place has a very nice garden if you want to sit outside. The only negative was the very slow (but still friendly) service. Would always eat here again.
