Taverne Massena - Nice

Food was at best ok. The location is in a nice lively part of the pedestrian area and the service was good. It's a shame so little effort is put into the food quality. I had moules frites and I would swear the frites were made by my Mum at home with nasty frozen fries in a Ktel chip fryer. Doesn't cut it at this price.

The pizzas are huge, served on small plates for some bizarre reason. Too much cheese and not enough topping for my liking. But it was very fresh and hot. Ice cream was authentic Italian.

Really slow and arrogant service. Only thing sort of okay is the pizzas but don’t try anything else. But please prepare to spend a lot of time here...

If you are going to have a dinner there, better have a precise cash (incl.tips), or be prepated to pay 80%-100% tips due to their unwillingness to give you your change without a big scandal. Especially for tourists without a fluent knowledge of French and or English for claim expression.

Ambiente conturbado com mesas muito próximas dispostas na calçada. Atendimento satisfatório. Comemos uma simples pizza marguerita que estava muito boa.
