Przekaż informację zwrotnąWe had a three-course and as we had fish for the first two courses we choose a very good white Provence, which also did very well to the three very tasty pieces of cheese that we had as third course. Service was quick and friendly. Very good value for money.
A bit expensive but that is Nice and it was worth every penn. Modest and friendly service, excellent dishes based on local products prepared with "Japanese finesse". They could maybe improve the information terror a bit.
As all the excellent reviews mentionned this is a restaurant where you spend a lovely evening with very friendly service and delicous dishes prepared with fresh and firstclass ingredients. Very good location (next to Galeries Lafayette and parking). Don't forget to reserve.
5 people for anniversaire. Neutral room, clean, a bit dark. Excellent service, maybe the waiter could speak a little bit louder (I am a bit deaf). We took 5 degustation menus (68 Euros), see below. One bottle of rosé, 2 glasses of red wine. Total 405 Euros.- The wine list is long ... and a bit elitist: cheapest wines are around 40 Euros.- appetizers: petits choux au fromage- amuse bouche. 10/10 really superb dish, maybe my saint pierre was cooked a tiny bit too much, otherwise close to perfection- steak de boeuf japonais avec petits legumes du jardin. very tender and tasty beef.- dessert: glace. in general I dont like dessert, but it was good ;-)All in all: very very tasty and neat. pretty plates. really nice, fresh. All what we like.Price: this is getting a bit expensive, which is the only reason why I only give 4 starsbut this is unfair, the ingredients included a 100 gr slice of japonese beef , 80 gr of Saint pierre, 4 fresh langoustines, 1/2 large gambas, a piece of high end italian ham, plus many high end fresh vegetables... and a lot of work ...
We loved this restaurant! We discovered it through NYT 36 Hours. They did not speak a lot of English; we did not speak a lot of French. We had the best time with the best food. The prix fixe with pairings is the way to go. There were whites than reds, but it was all so thoughtful. The foie gras tourine, the onion/chorizo dish, and steak were all standouts. Perfect portion size: we walked away feeling like we actually had a meal, which doesn't always happen with prix fixe. When you are in need of something different than the usual touristy spots, this is the special place to go.
