I often pop in for a coffee and croissant into this well run and long established cafe on boulevard Gambetta opposite the Jardin Alsace Lorraine close to Avenue des Fleurs and Boulevard Victor Hugo. All year around its possible to sit outside (weather permitting of course).Owner very polite and helpful. Although I've not personally eaten here I've heard it has a good reputation for food and as I've walked by lunch times I can vouch its very often very busy with most tables taken and locals (and maybe tourists) eating.
We walked pass Les Delices Dores the other day when we should have breakfast at another patisserie. Today we decided to try Les Delices Dores. So fare best coffee and croissants I have had in Nice. And first patisserie where they serve your order at the table.
An excellent alternative to the pricy hotel beeakfast buffet. Very good coffee and superb croissant and baguette. Friendly and attentive staff. Reasonable prices. Outdoor seating as well.
We popped into Delices Dores whilst walking to the beach from our rented apartment. It is situated on the Bvd Gambetta, just opposite a little green park. There is seating inside and on the pavement, we chose the latter. We had a selection of drinks and snacks that were very tasty and the bill was only €11.90 for the four of us. A nice little spot to stop for breakfast or brunch.
