Le Royal Hotel Restaurant - Nice

Very tired hotel, staff rude, rooms in the need of renovation the hotel could be so much better when cleaned. curtains fall off the rails, flowing in the bathroom broken. no hand towels or sweet breakfast very poor hotel in beautiful location. that's really about it. man in bar very rude no human skills, what ever!

Location for this hotel is great, close to everything you need and in front of the beach. From there you can walk quite anywhere. the first impression is good and the staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. I have a single room. for a short stay that was clean, but very simple, it had not frigobarous or even safe and they can see that it needs a revitalization. breakfast for what they calculate, it is not worth as I had and was regretted, staff at the breakfast don't speak English and it was quite disorganized. as I said, the situation is great! I wouldn't stay more than two nights.

The hotel, well, let's just say I won't return in a hurry. the restaurant was immense. we sat outside with a live jazz band. three courses and two drinks below 100 €, which was our most expensive food. eating was fantastic....Best meal I had in the old. the service was slow, but there were only three waiters, including a chap that went between the bar and the restaurant. the staff was beautiful and tried their hardest (including a newbie waiter who was so enchanting to watch). a pity that the rest of the hotel is not the same.

This was a lovely setting . Great views of the prom. Linen table cloths with linen over throws on chairs. Food was great. Price was realistic. Our server name was Alice who couldn't help us enough. Which I feel led her into a little trouble...with maybe her supervisor. Who appeared to tell her to hurry up. This girl didn't stop all the time we was there. Only seen the other girl ie supervisor at the end. Recommend this place. But please if you read this letter royal. Don't allow your customers to witness your staff barking orders at each other. Learn them to be discrete.

Lovely hotel with large rooms and superior bathrooms. Staff were friendly and helpful. Seaview was immense. Great breakfast and evening meal was good in pleasant courtyard. Hope to stay again in this central location.
