BBrasserie Lounge - Nice

This place is certainly better value than anything in the Nice train station or on the esplanade in front. We paid EUR 49.30 for lunch for 2 including wine. There seemed to be some friction between a manager and the waiter which impacted negatively on the service but this may have been an off day.

This restaurant is just outside the Nice central train station so we had very low expectations. We got there for a quick meal before getting on the train to Italy. Initially, the waiter was rude. Apparently there is a section for those only drinking which is where we sat. Once he learned that we are interested in a meal, he was rude. Any way, fast forward to the different, more friendly but extremely busy waitress... The food was really good (could be because we didn't expect much) and the prices are very reasonable. Best burger in France. Would not hesitate to eat there again if at the train station.

We 've been to this brasserie now couple of times for lunch apéro and each time we 've left feeling fulfilled in spirit and in body while not feeling too light in the wallet. The price-quality ratio of the food is excellent. The choice of pizzas, plat-du-jour, regular dishes from the menu, desserts and the wine is surprisingly large for a brasserie en face de la gare and all we 've tried thus far has been very good. If you 're passing by, don 't pass but pop in.

Brasserie face à la gare de Nice Ville. Très bon accueil, plat du jour rosbeef froid, bien servi et agréable à manger quand il fait chaud. La personne qui m'accompagnait avait choisi une salade de chèvres chauds, celle-ci était copieuse et bonne.Nous y avons bien déjeuner.

Nous sommes venus boire un verre entre amis (nous étions 6), le serveur tres désagréable. Nous avons commandé un cappuccino, un cafe crème, deux sirops à l'eau, un cafe Et un jus de pomme. Nous avons réclamé une bouteille d'eau. Le serveur nous a tout simplement dis que ce n'était pas possible car la maison ne donnait pas d'eau. Nous avons trouvé ça inadmissible, contenu la chaleur qu'il faisait (plein mois d'août) et la commande que nous avions déjà effectué. En tout cas nous n'y remettrons plus les pieds.
