Aux Deux Palmiers - Nice

Reasonably priced- food ok, view is fence of train construction by hotel - if you want pizza, bruschetta and average house wine this is for you

Le restaurant est plein malgré les travaux aux alentours . La qualité et le service sont d'un très bon niveau. Les raviolis à la daube sont exceptionnels . La salade " deux palmiers " est toujours succulente . Les quantités sont également au rendez-vous .Les prix sont contenus . € 1.60 le café par exemple .

Staying over the road from this restaurant, it is one which we usually visit a couple of times during our stay. It is a restaurant which tends to be quite busy as lunchtime with local (workers) but is quieter in the evenings. Although the staff has changed on a number of occasions between our reasonably regular visits to Nice, the quality of the food remains good. There is a reasonably wide selection of food and we have never struggled to find a choice appropriate to our perspective on any evening.

"Aux Deux Palmiers" is a brewery/pub where it is possible to eat excellent food for cheap (above all if we consider the average cost of a meal in Nice!!). You can either chose a menu (starters+main+dessert) for 18€ at night or any other dish à la carte. Excellent goat cheese salads.The atmosphere is friendly, waiters are vey amusing and the terrace is great for summer dinners.By chance, there was a stag party when we went there, and it was nice to see that everybody (customers and staff) was partying as well, so we were invited to join.

Venu pour un rendez-vous d'affaire, qui s'est terminé par un repas, nous nous sommes régalés. Avec un service efficace, plein d'humour, nous avons choisi le plat du jour , un risotto de veau. Il était excellent.Le dessert était plus classique, sans commentaire...C'est une très bonne adresse pour un déjeuner rapide, dans la bonne humeur.il peut être judicieux de réserver, le nombre de place est limité, et les habitués affluent ...!
