The Old Winery Restaurant

We had a fantastic dinner, wait staff was awesome and accommodating. This is one of our favorite places to eat in NOTL.

Well I’d give it 1 but trying to be kind! A reservation here is like a wooden nickel or a screen door on a submarine…completely useless! Based on pass experiences food is just average and so is service…have given this feedback in person to them and they still don’t care! So only thing I can recommend is go elsewhere! You will be happy you did!

The local wine ordered was marked up over $30.00 per bottle from retail price. . A little too much to be a fair selling price. The salads were well prepared and fresh. The entrees for the most part were served hot and well prepared, with the exception of the pasta bolognaise. This dish had a very strange flavour and we could find no meat in it. When asked we were told that it contained CLOVES! Cloves are not a complementary addition to red pasta sauce. Disgusting!

Very busy restaurant in Niagara on the Lake. Outside seating looked good. Friendly, attentive waitress. Pizzas were so different and delicious named after wines. I had the Riesling with artichokes, sun dried tomatoes, feta cheese and olives. Crust super thin and done is a brick oven. Managed to eat the whole thing since there wasn't a big thick doughy crust. Gnocchi was delicious. Prices were amazing. Wonderful for family groups with little ones as very casual.

When you are visiting Niagara wine country, this is the perfect way to cap off a great day. We were wine tasting with 2 other couples at pellers, trius and Gretzky's. We made plans for dinner at the old winery (we've done this before) . Service was great, food was tasty, and the atmosphere is cozy. Pizzas, pastas, salads and much more....the burgers looked amazing.
