Churchill Lounge - Niagara On The Lake

Truly great pub food the kitchen will go out of their way to accommodate special requests and service is simply awesome!

Very yummy food, lobster BLT and the fish and chips. Had the orange blossom iced tea, not worth it tasted like watered down orange juice.

We ordered the fish and chips and the smash burgers. The fish and chips smell and were boiled simultaneously (as well as) over and under. The burgers were really? Burger. They were boiled, dry. One of our orders did not arrive at all and one member of our party remained hungry. The drinks tasted like alcohol. When we marked the problems, the waitress became quite defensive and brought the manager who had us waited for over 15 minutes. I will say that the manager was nice and comped certain parts of our meal, but overall it was super disappointing. There are so many other beautiful restaurants in the area that it can easily be avoided.

We enjoyed having lunch at Churchill Lounge. The whole place is such a mood that felt like an old raid in the interior. We ordered the Charcuterie board, the soup of the day (parsley cauliflower tasty) and the steak sandwich with salad. They were amazing and split the Entree evenly on two plates for us (picture reflects half the part if you were ordered, you get double what you see in the photo). The food was great! The desserts were even better! The banana care cream brulee was AMAZING!! so delicous and aromafull it did not even need the chocolate above. The Brittany cake was also amazing! Very recommended, but bring your checkbook .

3.5 stars. Looking back in February. Was there for a birthday dinner. Had a great cocktail and cheese / meat sharing board. My fried chicken sandwich was a miss though - the hot sauce in which it was consumed made it insensitive because it was a strong hot vinegar (no other flavors recognizable). Our waiter was excellent and tried to fix it, but roasted chicken lasts a while and when I got a new one with the sauce on the side, the sauce was unchanged. I had a chicken sandwich. My husband enjoyed his burger. Just don't order the fried chicken.
