The chicken fried rice not only looked terrible but tasted even worse . None of the food was hot . Everything was served at room temperature . The chicken balls was mainly batter with very little chicken . The spring vegetable rolls were stale . Their use of MSG is excessive since we all ended up with massive headaches . The service was abrupt and disinterested with even forgetting to give us fortune cookies in the end . The place looks and feels dirty , dated and uninteresting which would be tolerable if the food was good . On the contrary it is the worst food we have ever tasted .
Atmosphere - Just OkPretty out dated and the place can be a bit cramped, depending on where they seat you. we got seats in the aisle leading to the kitchen. I would not recommend this for anyone. It was like having an aisle seat on a plane, everyone 2 minutes someone from the restaurant would come by with a cart of dirty dishes and you would have to keep adjusting so they don't hurt your elbow.Food - Just ok We had ordered a dinner for 3 special - none of the dishes came at one time. we started with the soup (which is fine)...then 5 min later the chicken balls....then 5 min later chicken\veggie dish... then the beef chow mein and finally at the end when we were almost done .. the chicken fired rice. Just a heads up if you have a high blood pressure avoid this place. the chicken fried rice had more salt than rice.overall - just ok
I ordered my food to go, Won Ton soup for one and an order of BBQ Pork fried Rice. It was only 11 CAD and well worth every penny. The rice would have fed 3 people. It does not look like anything fancy from the outside, but I have eaten chines food all over the world and this one was decent and well worth the visit. Wished I had tried more dishes. Will visit again next time I am in Niagara.
Are you looking for good bang for your buck??? This is the place to go! We went on our last day there.. I truly wish we had gone there just after we had arrived... but we didn't! We ordered 2 combos. Well, you get Wonton soup to start followed by the largest plate of food I have ever seen! With an egg roll on top!! It was $9.95 per plate!! We figured there was a mistake somewhere! We had enough food left over to eat the next day before we left and give one to a friend. Just because the place is empty..isn't always a bad thing! We might have been alone, but the food was the best!
Ate here on a Saturday evening, the food was virtually chucked at us as the were very busy. The food was very average, and the spring rolls and chicken wings arrived virtually when we had finished the meal rather then as the starter. Wouldn't recommend
