Taco & Tequila - Niagara Falls

Should book ahead for this one lines from early to get a table. We had a great selection of food (House sauce to a must but be careful! good selection of beers and great staff.

The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere at this restaurant were all fantastic. It truly captured the essence of Mexican cuisine. Although we had driven by it many times before, it will now be a regular spot for us. The outdoor patio was bustling even on a Monday night.

We were hopeful but very disappointed with our dinner. We ordered takeout to go back to our hotel. I tried calling the order in but only received a recording since we were close I ran inside and placed our order. The hostess and the person who took the order was extremely friendly. The restaurant seemed really busy so I thought that was a good sign. We got back to our room to eat. We were sharing a steak quesadilla and a coconut shrimp starter. The tortilla was almost completely blacked and smelled burnt. The shrimp were also way over cooked. The only way that we were even able to it was the sour cream and the sauce for the shrimp. I have NO clue why the people in the kitchen thought this was presentable and edible. Total with the tip ended up costing $40. Very disappointed!!! Unfortunately, I did not think to take a photo.

This was our first trip to taco n tequila and it didn't disappoint! The staff were friendly and patient as we took our time deciding what we wanted from the menu. The food was absolutely delicious and quite a reasonably priced meal, less than $100 for two adults and a child.

Walked over in the cold from Fallsview Casino to get a taste of Mexico! We were not disappointed. The decor is very nice. Great idea to have large garage doors that open up the entire one end of the restaurant to the patio. But alas it was winter so we had to stay inside warm and comfortable. The service was excellent. Great menu. We had a couple La Iceberg drinks to start. Delicious. Had not had a good iceburg since we were in Mexico. Definite treat. I had the Flautas and they were really good and a good size. My wife had the Burrito Bowl and she really enjoyed the flavours. It was large and she had some to go. This was our first time at Taco n Tequila and it certainly will not be our last! Volveremos de Nuevo! Gracias!
