Shanghai Garden Restaurant

We found the prices to be higher than expected, but that's typical for Niagara Falls. The chicken balls were tough and difficult to cut with a knife and fork. The chicken dish came with spaghetti-like noodles instead of the expected type of noodles.

I waited 20 minutes for my food to be ready and when I got home, I was disappointed to find that the chicken balls were overcooked and seemed like they had been reheated multiple times. The rice was also very old and didn't taste fresh at all. I was appalled by the quality of the food and felt like I should report this establishment. I will definitely not be returning to this restaurant and do not recommend anyone else to go there. The staff hardly spoke English and the overall experience was terrible. If you own a business in Canada, you should be in heaven, but this place was far from it. Do not eat here!

I ate her and enjoyed the food. The food was very authentic and the price was reasonable. My only complaint is that they did not take a visa. Will come back

Don't get confused by all the good ratings cuz if you look at the time frame it was all in the past with the old owners. The pictures are from that era as well. The food is horrid and the decor matches. Went with the...kids cuz they wanted to have Chinese and was in the area and have been there in years. I didn't know the owners had change. We barely touched the food and when we were leaving they were like do you want it to go and I said no thanks leaving mounds of food. Maybe that'll send a message.

Very nice place, perfectly placed near the tourist area, although a little expensive. but the food is worth it. a multitude of offerings, with great fresh inspired ingredients. servers are always pleasant, the place is busy, but you would never know it with the service
