Subway - Newville

I want to be cautious in my wording, but when you are third in line behind two small groups and 50 minutes later you have to leave without any food due to time constraints, something is not right. There were two workers present, but one seemed to be missing most of the time and did not assist the struggling girl who was likely doing her best. On a positive note, I have visited this Subway location many times and typically the wait is not long, if at all.

I went to this restaurant with a group of friends, but unfortunately, they were unable to make sandwiches. The man working there was not helpful at all and claimed that they didn't have enough bread, even though it was obvious that they did. I would not recommend this place. The time it took to make my two subs was surprisingly long. The person making the subs was friendly and ensured they were made correctly and tasted good, so I have no complaints about that. Despite there being only one person in line when I arrived, it took over 20 minutes. By the time I left, there were six people in line and a coworker or manager was seated in a booth the entire time. While the young man who served me was polite, it seemed that there were not enough staff or assistance available. The service was for take-out and the meal was for dinner, with an average price per person ranging from $1–10.

The Subway location in Newville is spotless and looks brand new on the inside, almost feeling out of place. The food is delicious, with a full menu of options as expected from Subway. While the service is generally decent, there may be longer wait times for in-person orders due to staffing issues. It is recommended to use the online app to avoid waiting, as online orders are prioritized. Despite potential delays, Subway is a convenient option in Newville with limited food choices.

They turned me away 25 minutes before closing because they had a mobile order of 8 subs. Guess I’ll be taking my money elsewhere.
