La Stalla - Newtown Township

From the moment you walk in the door, you feel like part of the family. The decor takes you to old Tuscany, but with a modern twist. The patio is the perfect place to enjoy a fantastic fun delicious meal. Everything was great. The bread was perfect, with a great crunchy exterior and a warm, soft, chewy middle. I had the bone in veal chop, parmigiana style. It was perfectly fried, crisp still, under the sauce and melted fresh mozzerella. The meat was tender and still moist. My colleague had the Chilean sea bass special which was perfectly cooked and very flavorful. For dessert I had the Peanut Butter Bomb, and if you are a chocolate lover, this was a rich decadent treat, very sweet, but I enjoyed it. The real surprise was the pistachio ice cream. They don't make it in-house, and I didn't figure out the brand, but it was the best pistachio ice cream I've ever tasted. It was creamy, with whole nuts, and it had a full roasted pistachio flavor with hints of butter and caramel.

My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at La Stalla. He chose the Lobster, Shrimp, and Scallops Ravioli, while I went for the Chicken Parm. Both dishes were excellent, with rich, authentic flavors that reminded us of our trip to Italy last summer. The service was also top-notch—attentive and friendly without being overbearing. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere that made our evening feel special. We left feeling satisfied and already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend!

Food Service excellent. The only problem I has was the dining room was quite smoky from the kitchen. Smelled like stereo fire. Really beautiful quaint rustic Tuscan interior. The staff was top notch !
