Teikoku - NEWTOWN SQUARE

For my main course, I tried the chef's sushi. The fish was incredibly fresh and delicate, presented in four pieces, though the rice didn't quite hold together as well as I had hoped. I also ordered the Thai basil lamb chops, which were juicy and cooked to a perfect medium-rare. The basil flavor was prominent, and the mashed potatoes were creamy without being overly rich. I also had the sesame-crusted tuna, which was cooked nicely but served in a somewhat small portion with a lot of sauce—perhaps too much for my taste. The sweet potatoes were a pleasant addition to the meal. One downside was that the women's restroom was a bit neglected, with a wet floor and no toilet paper in two stalls. However, it's understandable considering they might have had a busy night, and I must say that all the servers were attentive. Overall, it's a fun place to visit if you're looking to enjoy a blend of Asian and Western flavors!

My wife, who is originally from Japan, and I absolutely love Teikoku. We visit specifically for the sushi and sashimi, which are truly the best we've ever had. Unlike many other sushi bars, Teikoku offers unparalleled selection and freshness. We’ve known Master Sushi Chef Koichi Aoyama since before he joined Teikoku, and we’re thrilled to have him there. On our way home from dinner, we both agreed that we need to come back more often! Thank you, Chef Aoyama and the team at Teikoku!

Not your average Japanese food. Very nice fusion with some Tai and Chinese to expand the menu. One of the best restaurants in the area and has a private room for small groups.

Excellent food, drinks, service and atmosphere. My husband and i ordered pan seared gyoza, sashimi platter, petite kobe steak with truffle mashed potato and king oyster mushrooms, everything was beautiful and fresh and delicious. Perfectly paired with Diamond dust sake, thanks to Larry our server who recommended it : we enjoyed so much our dining at Teikoku

What an amazing birthday celebration we had last night! Our server (Derek I believe was SUPERB! So helpful and accommodating! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We didn 't realize it was possible to go into a 'sushi coma ' until it happened but there was no way we were going to let a piece go uneaten. : Hats off to all of your staff and your chefs, they are fantastic. We cannot wait to come back with friends and get the Surf Turf roll again... which has now become my all time favorite! Thank you!
